Luminous Bachelor Buttons Gilded Vellum
Bachelor Buttons or Cornflowers were a beautiful addition to the garden. Not only are they delicate and colorful, but have provided all the bees, butterflies and other pollinators with some nutrition. Even the hummingbirds loved them. Once finished flowering, the Western Gold Finch moved in and devoured the seeds. Now, that is worth planting and enjoying. This image is a bit more romantic than some others as I play with the focus and composition to suit how I see these beauties.
