Tintype are one of the first photographic processes developed in the 1850s. It is fun! If you have a view camera, I can teach you via Zoom if you are unable to come see me in New Mexico.

Cyanotype is an age old process where a non-toxic chemical solution is coated on watercolor paper and exposed to the sun to create beautiful indigo colored prints. Think blueprints. This is one of the easiest photographic print processes suitable to almost all ages. A great process to do with your kids. The first day will be used to make about 8 to 10 simple photograms utilizing flowers, leaves, lace and twigs. If you want to discover how to add more color or how to use your own photographs in a cyanotype, then the second day is perfect for you to add.
