This is a photogravure print on Hahnemühle German Etching® 310 g. Images size is 7”x7” on a 16”x20” archival mat. Brown-black ink custom blended. Hand pulled limited edition to 10
You will see images of datura plants and flowers a lot in my work. Some consider it a sacred plant, others poison and hence dangerous. Personally, she is beautiful, fragrant and brings me great joy in all her forms. During the warm months, I routinely cut her flowers to bring in a vase to my bedside. I have 3 different plants in the garden, sourced from ancient New Mexico lands. Some are tinged with beautiful blue-purple accents.
