Delicate seed pods from the sand verbena plant. A native to New Mexico found in sand and scrubby desert regions. I photographed these paper thin seed pods and used the polymer photo gravure process to create this image. This is a photogravure print on Hahnemühle German Etching® 310 g. Images size is 7”x7” on a 16”x20” archival mat. Brown-black ink custom blended. Hand pulled limited edition to 10. Tripterocalyx micranthus is the scientific name.
